The fund-raising efforts of the Buildings Committee have resulted in the target needed of £40,000.00  being almost reached. Although there is still a little way to go – it’s not too late to make a donation! –tenders are now being sought for carrying out the planned work.

As some of you will know, the heating system at St Mary’s has finally given up its unholy ghost and the church is more than a little chilly.  It’s freezing.

So, the priority is to get the new heating system in place and an announcement about this will be made very soon.

Inevitably there is going to be upheaval while the work is carried out, but people will be kept up to date as work progresses.

Work will start soon on the removal of the old iron radiators and pipework, and the side pews

Hopefully, there will not be too much disruption to our regular services and to our programme of concerts.

In the meantime, all donations to help us reach the final target will be gratefully received!

Donors may make an initial enquiry by writing to A member of the Building and Fund Raising Committee or PCC will be pleased to answer any questions.
